Hi, my name’s Sam. I’m from the West Midlands, I’m 37 and I’m an administrator. A few years ago, I suffered from Bell’s Palsy which has left me with a little bit of nerve damage, I think. So, when I smile, my face looks a little bit freaky, or it did. It made me feel really self-conscious. So I googled best Botox West Midlands, and it came up with Dr. Dan Dhunna’s name.
When I met Dr. Dan, he was really warm, friendly and I just felt instantly at ease. The results of the treatment, first it was little bit scary because you lose a little bit of movement. But, once it settles down you get used to it, it’s just brilliant. Putting your makeup on, your face is so much smoother and you feel so much more confident when you’re dealing with people and talking to people because you know that, well, for me, I have movements in my face that would occur when I smile that made me feel self conscious.
Those are all gone now, so I don’t have to worry about that anymore, so I feel much more confident. The things that I can do now that I couldn’t do before, I would never smile if I was having a photograph taken because I felt self-conscious when I was smiling. I tried not to smile too often when I was talking to people, because I was conscious of that too and my eye would close a lot as well and when I was smiling or laughing, so I try to avoid things like that.
I’m really, really scared of needles, but it doesn’t hurt at all. A little bit sore afterwards, but I’m a complete wimp but there was nothing to make sense. I definitely recommend this treatment. It’s not a massive procedure, so it’s nothing to be nervous about, it’s not permanent, so you’re not doing anything that can’t be reversed and it’s made such a difference to me.
In the past, I’ve been to somebody’s house actually to get it done and it wasn’t, it’s not the same at all, she didn’t know what she was doing, she wasn’t as confident. I didn’t feel as confident in her and the results wasn’t as good as this. So I think it’s really important to go to somebody that you trust, and that you know is good and qualified.
